Program Highlights

Our programs are all participant-driven and strive to empower both participants and volunteers. They serve to expand creativity, allow young women to express themselves and share ideas and interests, and help women and girls realize future opportunities that are available to them. Programs include:

• Program Design and Community Activities: Do you like to plan events? Since 2005, we have planned and hosted EnviroFest at Chollas Park, which invited the public to attend a fair filled with vendors and artists to promote environmental education and consciousness.
  
  
• Community Service: Get together with friends to make a difference in the neighborhood. Together with REI, we learned how to help our local canyons and trails.
  
  
• Extra-curricular Classes: We coordinate interested participants in taking lessons in martial arts, drama, dance, public speaking, filmmaking and various sports.
  
  
• Mentorship: Whether you want to share something with one of our volunteers or with a group, you'll always have someone listen to anything that's important to you.
