An "alliance" is a connection between individuals or groups based on kinship or common interests.
Participants and volunteers of the San Diego Girls' Alliance (SDGA) are connected by the understanding that, together, we can help each other grow. Every individual has strengths and talents that need the right environment to be unlocked. Every young woman has a story worth sharing. Every participant of the SDGA can make a difference. The SDGA strives to provide opportunities where girls and young women can recognize both their individuality and the similarities among the diverse populations of San Diego County.
To assist girls and young women by offering resources and guidance toward personal development and community awareness.
The San Diego Girls' Alliance (SDGA) is a California 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that is committed to being a resource for girls and young women ages 10-20 to exchange ideas and interests. By providing unique group mentoring, participant-driven programs, creative recreational activities, and advocacy resources, the SDGA strives to empower participants and help them develop leadership skills and life-long friendships. The SDGA also raises community awareness about at-risk girls in the San Diego area.
